When I first started this program I was shy. I mean who wants to post pictures of themselves tell other people your goals. I barely post things on Facebook to begin with so this was a learning curve. Being part of a good team of guys made it easy and fun - thanks to all of you.
 
Gil you were a big motivator with all of your tips and guidance. Not intimidating like a personal trainer but encouraging throughout.
 
Gil your transformation over the years was amazing. To learn that my diet doesn't have to be perfect to lose weight was a revelation for me. I am not disciplined enough to stop drinking beer or eating sweets - I just love them all too much. Like you say, you get to have your cake and eat it too. You are a good coach and motivator. Keeping it light and funny even when shit hits the fan. Great job!
 
The program was pretty easy to follow and helped me realize how many calories are in the food I like to eat. It was good to put things in perspective and to gain an understanding of what foods will make me feel fuller longer. With small adjustments to my current diet, I was able to lose weight and eat all the food I love (french fries, chocolate cookies, Beer, Wings).
 
It helped having other like minded beer drinkers in the group. We all lost weight and drank beer. I never drank so much beer before and I didn't have to feel guilty about enjoying it (I'm having a beer write now as I write this).
 
Seeing and reading other blogs helped with the food I eat (cottage cheese and yogurt - who would have thought!?)
 
After my doctor check up a few weeks ago, I learned that my Cholesterol is back to normal now and although it wasn't an issue or required treatment, its good to know I don't have to worry about it anymore.
 
My energy levels have gone through the roof. And I dont have as many aches and pains like I did when I was overweight. I love the fact I can finally do pull ups and dips without assistance. I could barely do 1 before and now I am doing four sets of each exercise. The benefits of losing weight are endless.
 
Overall, very happy with the program and the results. Thank you for everything.
